Outwood organised a staff meeting and Adam took the lead with this. Rather than having a standard meeting, parents requested intensive interaction training, Adam gave the staff team, intensive interaction team, which can now be embedded into the service and benefit the residents greatly. The team gave, excellent feedback also. Thanks Adam!
At the moment, Outwood does not have a maintenance operative. Jason has been supporting Outwood a lot, he comes to the service regular, speaks to the team and management, has got to know the resident and takes care of the property. He really has put a lot of effort and care in and it must be hard work being between two homes. Thanks for the help!

The service users have spoken about her and her amazing work in the last three community meetings and she goes above and beyond every day to ensure the ward is clean and that the patients’ needs are met. She is doing an amazing job and deserves the recognition. Thank you from Tiffany ward.
Despite being very new to the role and to mental healthcare, he was able to de-escalate a potentially intense incident using relaxation techniques. Patients engage with him very well and he has a soothing presence.
Frank leads by example.
Puts the patients needs first & helps create a staff team moral to work together on a shift.
I feel by creating this positive team environment Frank manages to get the best out of all staff on shift.
Always remains calm and supportive to both staff & patients.
Izzy has recently moved over to the new acute service at Cygnet Bury. She was asked to come on the night shift and support staff due to lack of permanent nurses. Izzy worked tirelessly to ensure that all service users were supported and that the team were also supported and safe in challenging times.
Melissa has recently moved over to the new acute service at Cygnet Bury and has worked hard to ensure that all service users are supported to the best of her ability.
