Joining our team you will work remotely on a full time, 40hrs per week basis

The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketer to join our in-house specialist marketing team. This position will be well-suited to an individual who has previously worked in the health and or social care industry, is enthusiastic and has the motivation and desire to work in a friendly, fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills are a must, along with the ability to manage their own workload. Working closely with the whole marketing team and other internal departments, you will work together to ensure that the Cygnet Social Care brand is adhered to and is consistent.

Person Specification:

  • Be the main point of contact in the marketing team for all social care service collateral, flyers, brochures, case studies, etc, ensuring that we are capturing up-to-date/relevant information including positive outcomes.
  • Be the lead contact for organising internal and external events and conferences, and external exhibitions that promote the Social Care division, raise awareness of our UK-wide network of services and encourage referrals.
  • Provide a single point of contact for colleagues across the group, in particular from Commercial and Operations for any Marketing requirements. This includes working in partnership with the Business Relationship Managers to tailor specific campaigns, mailers and marketing strategies.
  • Monitor the effectiveness and impact of marketing initiatives through evaluation and analysis
  • Continue to enhance and embed the Social Care brand and identity, which is being further developed throughout 2025 & 2026.
  • Be the lead point of contact for marketing for Cygnet’s two nursing homes, this includes social media, Google Ads and other on and offline adverts, sponsorships and producing other marketing collateral to promote the two homes in their local area.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and advise confidently and effectively across all levels of the organisation
  • Must have exceptional organisational skills
  • Preferably worked in a marketing team in a healthcare / social care organisation
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Holding a professional marketing qualification will be advantageous
  • Copywriting skills and basic design skills are essential
  • Takes pride in their attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • Exceptional creativity and motivation to constantly improve
  • Be able to handle constructive feedback in a positive way
