We are currently recruiting a Regional Facilities Manager to carry the responsibility of the estates management for all the properties within the South East of England.

The role may include line management of staff, supervising from time to time and supporting other key members of staff to ensure a safe, healthy, clean, attractive and comfortable environment.

The role requires an overall emphasis on Health & Safety relevant to premises, ensuring that all properties function as effectively as they can and are ‘fit for purpose’ for their residents and staff. Furthermore, the post requires the incumbent to take a ‘high level’ strategic approach to the portfolio of properties to ensure the integrity of their value, in terms of operational and investment worth is both preserved and enhanced in the short, medium and long term.

Your day-to-day…

  • To act as a senior professional in the Estates department and manage relevant staff and all resources available in a manner that delivers an efficient and effective core service to the Group of Companies.
  • To share with the leadership team, evaluating the risk of, and protecting the client groups from threats to their health, welfare and normal development, where premises issues relate to these and to follow strictly the Cygnet Adult Protection Policy and Procedures.
  • To provide and ensure high professional standards of communication with Cygnet Managers, Operations Directors, Managing Directs, staff and clients.

To actively develop and maintain good working relationships with:

  • Cygnet staff, clients/residents
  • Contractors and all trade personnel
  • Inspectors and other outside agencies and visitors
  • Cygnet Group Managers and Directors

Please note: This role requires you to be on call 24/7 one week in 4.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
