Cygnet have a fantastic opportunity for a Specialist Trainer to join our team in the South Region.

We are looking for an experienced Health and Social Care Trainer to join the Learning & Development function as part of our in-house Training Team.   

Please note this is a full time role working 40 hrs per weeks delivering training courses across our services within the South region, this will involve travel within the geographical area on a weekly basis.

Cygnet Health Care have been providing a national network of high quality specialist mental health services for more than 30 years.

The role:

You will be required to develop and deliver a variety of topics across Cygnet service is this will include:

  • Safer People Handling
  • Risk Assessment
  • Fire Warden Marshall
  • Additional topics in relation to the role/services

This role requires someone who is engaging and able to adapt their style to meet the needs of the participants.

This is a unique opportunity to share your knowledge and skills with our health and social care colleagues.

You are/will have…

  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own car
  • Current and up to date qualifications in support of the subject you will deliver
  • Hold Level 3 Award (or above) in Education and Training
  • Relevant experience in a training/teaching environment
  • An Inspiring individual who’s passionate about Training
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • Excellent skills across a number of IT packages eg Word, Powerpoint
